The Tools and Toys Method: Use extraverted thinking.
INTJs are natural experimenters with their auxiliary extraverted thinking function. Once you understand your INTJ personality, solve your problems through your own experiments, not just online searches.
Think of Extraverted Thinking (Te) in two ways:
- Tools: See things (including people) as tools to be used effectively. Understand how they work and use them accordingly (always ethically)
- Toys: See things as sources of fun and exploration. Don't just fantasize; actively play and discover how it works.
This "objects as tools/toys" approach can help you understand and use your INTJ strengths better.
Exercise:
Choose an object nearby. Think about how to improve its usability (e.g., load a stapler, sharpen a pencil, organize items into a container) or how you can use it immediately (e.g., shave with a razor, drink from a cup).
