INTJ: How to stop worrying

Image
In short Don't worry about potential future problems unless you're willing to identify and address specific concerns.  There's no point in general anxiety; either proactively solve the problem or don't worry about it at all. This proactive approach—setting clear mental rules—can significantly reduce anxiety and improve your life. Why does it work for INTJ An INTJ's tertiary Introverted Feeling (Fi) often leads to reactive, rather than proactive, emotional responses.  Because their feelings are linked to their beliefs (Te) and future projections (Ni),  INTJs can improve their emotional state by proactively gathering specific information (Te) to positively influence their Ni-based projections.  Essentially, knowledge is the first step to improvement. Alternatively, accepting that some things are unknowable (Ni's limitations) can lead to a acceptance and trust in a positive outcome. This mental rules can help a lot in developing a healthy mind for INTJs. Exercise...

INTJ: how to stop procrastination?

Image
Ni-Fi loop of INTJ INTJ procrastination often stems from a clash within their core values (Ni-Fi loop).  The conflict arises from the tension between pragmatism and a fear of feeling dehumanized by solely focusing on practical tasks.  This internal struggle—the desire for purpose (Fi) colliding with the exploration of endless possibilities (Ni)—leads to cycles of self-doubt and reevaluation.  Without resolution, this can escalate into anxiety and depression. Solution:  First, decide to either complete the task or process your feelings about it. If you choose the latter one, write or type out your feelings about the task.  Use line breaks between sentences. Then, examine each sentence you wrote, considering: Is it exaggerated? Is it negative? Is it uncharacteristic of your usual self? If one of them is "true", create a counter-statement. Compare the original sentence with its counter-statement. Select the statement that you believe is more accurate and helpful....

The Tools and Toys Method: Use extraverted thinking.

INTJs are natural experimenters with their auxiliary extraverted thinking function.  Once you understand your INTJ personality, solve your problems through your own experiments, not just online searches. Think of Extraverted Thinking (Te) in two ways: Tools:  See things (including people) as tools to be used effectively. Understand how they work and use them accordingly (always ethically) Toys:  See things as sources of fun and exploration.  Don't just fantasize; actively play and discover how it works . This "objects as tools/toys" approach can help you understand and use your INTJ strengths better. Exercise: Choose an object nearby.  Think about how to improve its usability (e.g., load a stapler, sharpen a pencil, organize items into a container) or how you can use it immediately (e.g., shave with a razor, drink from a cup).
